The Elephant's Capacity & PR&C Symbolic Compass
At Paige Reflections & Concepts (PR&C), our logo brands an elephant with the "C" on its back. The elephant represents the vastness of the human spirit. We do not just want you to "think" about your life; we want you to conceptualize the breadth (capacity) of who you are and are becoming. A big part of PR&C's philosophy and people- development is to cultivate inner capacity - through reflective journaling. Much of what is understood about the science of critical reflection AND the art of reflective journaling are symbolic in the elephant. Let's take a deeper look and align with PR&C's practices, mission, and brand.
PR&C Symbolic Compass
1. Wisdom & Memory (The Reflection)
Elephants are famous for their memory, but for us, memory is the 'soil' of reflection. We use reflective journaling to turn your history into wisdom. By looking back with intention, we ensure that no experience is wasted and every lesson is remembered.
2. Strength & Prudence (The Growth)
An elephant has the power to uproot trees, yet the prudence to be gentle. Cultivating capacity is not about just 'getting stronger'; it is about gaining the mental and emotional weight to remain grounded. Through our capacity building engagement, we teach you build the strength to lead and the prudence to know when to pause.
3. Obstacle Remover (The Transformation)
In many cultures, the elephant is the 'remover of obstacles'. Often, the biggest obstacle to our growth is our own unexamined thoughts. Reflective journaling is the 'tilling tool' that clears the path, removing the mental clutter that keeps you from your prosperity and peace.
4. Unity & Community (The sharing)
Elephants are deeply communal creatures who thrive in a herd. Growth should not be a lonely endeavor. Our Capacity Spaces mirror the l unity and community of the elephant, providing a supportive environment where you can grow alongside others and invite others to cultivate their own personal capacity.
